The Center Fair...
Davie County's Fair!
THE CENTER FAIR has not been held since 2019 when Covid-19 caused the closure of many events. At present, there are no plans in place for a future fair. Perhaps it will return in some form in the future. Over the years it started, stopped, and began again...so there is hope.
Since the very beginning back in 1924 the Center Fair was a fair for ALL OF DAVIE COUNTY. It was a time for folks in Davie County to display their creativity and hard work with items they made
in the past year and also join with friends and family for some good food and good times.
Any resident of Davie County could enter items in any of a large variety of categories for a chance to win one of our coveted Center Fair Ribbons and monetary prizes.
There were categories for children and adults that include: Children's Crafts & Hobbies, Canning, Woodworking, Culinary, Horticulture, Fine Arts, Photography, Field Crops, Sewing, and more!
Each year's FAIR BOOK contained a detailed list of categories, the rules, and more info you'd need to get your entries ready for the Center Fair.
